Organisers of Stars Best Shop Awards, Underlines Magazine, announced that the Gala Ceremony for this year’s event is Thursday 20th November at the Cumberland Hotel. Supported by INVISTA (owners of the Lycra® fibre brand), the event covers all sectors of retail from large department stores, chain, independent and speciality shops and e-commerce sites. There are 10 retail Awards: Personal Touch Shop, Reference Shop, Concept Shop, Best Newcomer, Multi-sector e-commerce site; Speciality e-commerce site, Department Store/Chain; Independent Department Store; Hosiery Retailer of Year and the Excellence/Outstanding Achievement Award (the latter decided by public vote). A jury of some 28 established brands representing the sectors of intimate apparel, corsetry, nightwear, swimwear and legwear will be nominating stores in all of the categories.
The new Award launched last year for The Supplier of the Year will be held again with voting by all the nominated stores.
