275 guests gathered in London last night for the 6th edition of Stars Best Shop Awards: retail awards for the underwear, swimwear and legwear industry. Hosted by journalist and broadcaster, Vanessa Feltz, the Awards drew buyers and retailers from all across the UK and Ireland. The glittering evening is organised by the leading trade publication, Underlines Magazine, which celebrates 25 years in the sector this year with the headline sponsor of INVISTA (owner of the LYCRA® brand). An exclusive preview of the new LYCRA® advertising campaign was shown during the evening.

Other sponsors included Courtaulds Brands (Pretty Polly and Aristoc) – Legwear Retailer of the Year; Panache with the Cocktail Reception and Wacoal Eveden with the deluxe photobooth. Stars is supported by national show organisers, ITE Moda Lingerie & Swimwear Exhibition, Eurovet (organisers of Salon International, Mode City and Interfiliere) and the Fashion Association of Britain (FAB) – all of whom gave generous prizes to the winners.

As well as the 12 annual Awards, a new Award was created last night – The Special Care Recognition Award, aimed at acknowledging the contribution these specialist stores make in the marketplace and won by Nicola Jane. Nicola Jane is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the Goswell Road shop in Clerkenwell in London.
