Last night the sectors of underwear, swimwear and legwear were represented by 264 retailers and 24 brands at the 5th edition of Stars in the Cumberland Hotel in London.
Underlines’ Managing Editor commented: “The Underlines’ Star Awards were created in 2007 to recognise and reward entrepreneurial skill, innovation and experience in these specialised sectors. Particularly aimed at independent stores the event highlights the resilience, competence and flair of retailers across the UK and Ireland.” Two new Awards were presented for 2013 – Hosiery Retailer of the Year and Supplier of the Year.
There were 380 nominations for this year’s Awards: 82 finalists were selected with 11 winners of the retail categories and one Supplier of the Year.
