On the evening of February 22, specialist magazine SOUS presented the STERNE der WÄSCHE Awards for the 15th time to the best lingerie specialist shops and department stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The 350 guests, consisting of owners and representatives of the most important lingerie shops, textile and group departments as well as the jury members, attended the award ceremony and celebrated together at the after-show party.
The top-class jury of 22 well-known lingerie manufacturers nominated 70 stores in nine categories and for the SOUS Manufacturers Award over 500 lingerie shops and departments cast their votes, honouring the best SS19 lingerie, swimwear and nightwear collections. In addition, the Lycra special prizes for an eye-catching product presentation were awarded for the fifth year, while Van de Velde celebrated their 100th anniversary by honouring the specialty store which has stocked the Marie Jo brand since it entered the German market.
